Thanks to all who helped out with the bridge construction over the summer and trail work this fall!! This year the Moultonborough Snowmobile Club has completed the third year of major construction and improvement to our Trail system. This summer alone, three bridge replacements have been completed including Bud's Bridge (using steel superstructure similar to last year, see pictures http://www.moultonborosmc.com/trail_work_photos.htm) and two wooded structure bridges on Mason's Trail. Also, trail excavation work has been completed on a major re-route and upgrades on the Mason and Castle Trails. The focus for this year has been the Corridor 15 from the Castle in the Clouds to Lake Winnipesaukee. This is a very high traffic area that is our gateway to the North and East. In addition, we will be doing Corridor 15 trail upgrades along the Neck Road. The Moultonborough Snowmobile Club continues trail cleanup on Saturday mornings throughout the fall. Volunteers are critical to an enjoyable winter of fun on the snow. Work parties will meet at the Snowmobile Garage each Saturday at 8:30 AM. Workers should bring a pair of work gloves and large pruning sheers if they have them. Don't forget bright orange clothing now that hunting season is here. The club has additional equipment for your use. The garage is located on Highway Road. To get to the garage, turn onto Moultonborough Neck Road and then take a left on Highway Road about a quarter mile down the road. The garage is the first building on the right.
